Lodge at the inlet wedding reception venue
The lodge is just outside the Pauatahanui village, about 25 minutes north of Wellington. Grounds surrounded by the picturesque landscape of hills and the inlet itself provides a lovely setting for your wedding reception and wedding pictures. Just pass the main gate you will see a charming stone bridge and pond, a beautifull backdrop for you wedding pictures! (The best part is that The Lodge is only minutes away from the "beach" at grey Rd , also a lovely spot for wedding pictures)
The main entrance to the lodge at the inlet courtyard, with its full size horse statues on either side of the arch, leads you to the two separate reception areas – “Harbour view” and “Stables” with indoor and outdoor facilities, a separate dance floor and bar area.
Don't feel like driving for hours after the reception?? Apart from the lovely reception areas , The Lodge also offers beautifull decorated rooms.
Contact the friendly staff to find out more about the wedding packages starting at $130 per head (2009 prices). This fee includes venue hire and a buffet meal accompanied by wine and tap beer.
